Renowned banker John Porter spearheaded a remodel, inspired by the Spanish Colonial Revival architecture, infusing the property with timeless allure and grandeur. Eager to showcase his prosperity, Porter introduced modern amenities such as electricity and plumbing, elevating the estate to a symbol of luxury and sophistication.
